The Vemme Kart chassis line was victorious again this past weekend with Canadian pilot Marcus Brodie at the latest round of the International Karting Federation (IKF) Region 6 and Northwest Gold Cup Sprint Kart Series event. With the racing action taking place in Mission, British Columbia, Canada, Brodie managed to sweep Sunday’s action by scoring the pole position, heat race wins and main event victory to stand atop the podium.

“The racing was tough this weekend. The constant change in track conditions led to an interesting weekend, but we were successful in the end, topping the time sheets in every session,” expressed Brodie after the completion of the event. “It was sure a difficult out there as the weather challenged us all weekend long. We went from dry to wet on three different occasions but the Vemme Kart handle to perfection in all conditions and I could not  have asked for anything more. I would like to thank Vemme Kart for the factory support. Their knowledge was a big help in the challenging and ever changing conditions.”

With weather challenging teams and competitors all weekend long, series officials had to delay some racing action as torrential downpours broken up b y sunny periods wreaked havoc throughout the paddock. When the dust had settled on Sunday afternoon, it was Vemme Kart that stood atop the podium after claiming the checkers in the main event.

Brodie continued, “The Vemme Kart is really turning some heads here in the Pacific North West and it is only a matter of time until we start winning on the national stage. I look forward to continuing to work with Vince Mandarino and Vemme Kart.”
